And They're Home!

I was alone for about a whole month here at home. My parents finally got back home the other day.
Of course I stayed up all night making sure the house was clean. You know, I threw a bunch of parties while they were out of town. HAHAHA! Just kidding but, seriously, I wanted to make sure it was perfect so that when they got back they wouldn't have to worry about anything.

I even cleaned on top of the roof of my house. It was a beautiful day, blue skies and the sun was smiling. Maybe that is why all of the birds were flying around singing their hearts out.
I was excited because I finally saw all of the parrots again.
That is one but as soon as I got my camera he flew off. So he is like sideways in this picture.

When my parents drove up outside of the house I couldn't wipe the silly grin off my face. It felt like forever since I had last seen them and given them hugs (although I actually do not like giving hugs).
My mom covered her face as usual. She never wants me to take her picture. But look at all the goodies (on the counter) they brought back! Lots of Lipton black tea and Pace picante sauce! Hehe!

The battery in our SUV ended up giving up the ghost and my dad had to replace it.

No blog post is complete without a picture of yours truly.

The greatest surprise of all is that my parents brought our old family dog back home with them.
My dad bought him for us kids like a week after we first moved to Mexico so that we wouldn't be so sad. Well, my sister took him to live with her when she got married.
Shadow is now 12 years old. And he is going blind and stuff so my dad decided that it would be better to bring him back here. He has now taken up residence on the rug on my floor. Auntie Dacia is glad to have him back home! And he loves me because I give him whatever he wants!

Peace and Love

Trees Flowing Over

I have never had a fruit tree in my yard before so this is all new to me.
When I got home from Texas I saw the two fruit trees were filled with fruit. But as the days went by I began to realize just how full they were!

The limbs are SO heavy on the peach tree that one of them broke off (see it laying in the ground)! And the branch that broke off is so heavy that I can't even pick it up!

The bad thing is that they are still not ripe yet. But I picked a lot off anyways because another of the branches is about to crack off!
These peaches are going to make our yard smell heavenly!

The other tree in a plum tree.
It looks so beautiful outside right now!

Looks cute, right?!

Uncle Bouncer decided that he liked to eat all the ripe peaches and plums that were falling onto the ground!
Too bad he vomited them all up later!

Look at this gross leaf I found!
There were these red things that actually looked like Twizzlers all stuck together on the underside of the leaf.

I left the door to the house open for one second and look who moseyed into the kitchen to see what I was doing!
Bouncer is so nosy!

These last weeks have just been me hanging out with Bouncer and Templeton!
Doesn't he look like a statue right here?!
My beautiful baby!

Oh, I've been hanging out with Mr. Toucan too:

Well, my parents are on there way back home as I type. I am so ready to see them!

Maybe once the fruit is completely ripe I will make some Peach cobbler and some jams ... NAW! I'm too lazy!

Peace Out!

A Picture For Your Day

I just thought some of you might enjoy seeing this picture of this arachnid that I spotted in my room.

I guess I should really start killing spiders when I see them so that they don't grow up to be this big!

Have wonderful day!

My House Was Vandalized ...

Look what happened!!

I promise I have no idea how it happened!
I got home and this is how it looked!

Okay, confession time!

I don't understand how this happens to me every time my parents are not at home. It doesn't matter how long they are gone, be it one hour or five months, this always happens. Some might say that I am irresponsible. Perhaps I am. Who can truly know?

But this time I promise it was different. I DID take my keys outside with me. They just happened to be the wrong keys. See, Mexican doors are not the same as American doors. One cannot go outside without having keys and not get locked out. Because these doors lock as soon as you shut them. 'Tis a tragedy really for people like me.

This is the second time that I have busted out this window in the past six months.
My poor daddy is going to be upset that he has to replace it once more.
Sorry, daddy!

The problem is that there are so many doors at this house. I am still not used to all the locks and the keys that those locks require.

When I got locked out the other day I noticed that I had accidentally grabbed the key to the gate below (instead of my house key):
I decided that I would go to the church to find the man that had an extra pair of keys for my house. But, alas, I could not get this gate to open. It wouldn't even budge. I don't know whether I am just weak or if it will only open for the mightiest of men, like Hercules.

(I do not know why I am talking about Hercules though. I have no clue who he is but it seemed to fit what I was saying. HAHA!)

The bad thing about the gate not opening is that I was basically trapped inside my yard with no way out (I can't jump over the wall 'cause there is a fence on top) but locked outside of my house. And to make matters worse ... it was fixing to pour rain!
Now you understand my plight (hopefully)!

I will now present my defense.

Allow me to show you the other doors in my house. They ALL have keys.

There is actually another door too but I figure that by now you get the picture!

So in my defense with ALL these doors it is easy to mistake which set of keys I am carrying!

Therefore my house was not vandalized by me but by the desperate girl who often gets trapped in the yard!

P.S. The weird this about this post is that I was writing the whole things with a British accent in my mind!

I Was Arrested!!!

I am guilty.
Here I am writing from jail.
I don't know how this happened.
All I can say is that I am sorry. Very sorry.
(And I just realized that my words form a pyramid.)
What am I talking about? Well, I am guilty ... of using a misleading title to draw readers in. See, I am under arrest ... by the BLOG POLICE!
Anyway, I haven't blogged in a looong time. A couple of months, I think. But all is well.
I have just been away. Away from home.
We had to go to the U.S. of A.

The morning/day that we left I decided to take a few pictures!
My poor baby Templeton (my cat) was on the roof crying his heart out.
He is that white blob you see on the roof!

When we got to Nuevo Laredo I was surprised by how desolate it looked. The road we were on had a bunch of abandoned buildings that had clearly been vandalized.
And like everywhere in Mexico ... there were police driving around with their machine guns and masks!

I was trying to sneak a picture of some of the military dudes!

When we were getting ready to cross we had a good laugh at this sign below:
"Move Forward Until Lane Clears"
My dad (the comedian) had us imagining moving forward until the lane is clear ... clear because your car cleared it of any other cars!

After we arrived in Texas the first thing we did was go see Lyric ... I mean, my sister. I can't speak for my parents but I know I was going to see Kristen as well, not just the baby! He! He! He!
Grandpa and Lyric
It's a miracle that she was smiling in this picture because she seemed pretty scared of us all!

But I went to stay with my sister and before it was all over Lyric loved her auntie!

Gigi and Lyric!

Kristen, Lyric & Grandpa

Most of the time I do not miss my family because I am just not the kind of person to miss anyone. But I really enjoyed getting to hang out with my brother and sister! They are the best!
Us Loa "kids" and baby!!!

Little Fults family!

I didn't really do much of anything while I was in the U.S. and so that accounts for the lack of interesting pictures! I am sorry but I have grown weary of traveling and so I no longer accompany my parents when they travel around.

My brother did take me to the lake though!
I was supposed to be jumping off these cliffs but ... alas, I am a chicken when it comes to heights. I was only able to jump off a 7 ft. cliff and that was only because my brother grabbed my hand and dragged me in!

My days in Texas were mostly spent with my brother and his new dog that he adopted while I was there!
Guero and Jacob!

Look at his sweet HUGE face!

Mother's Day was spent with my mother.
For the first time in our lives Jacob and I went and bought gifts for our mom!
HAHA! We are terrible children! But we do love her a lot!

And right before we left I decided to take some more pictures!
Me and Jacob!
I miss him!

My friend, Hannah, Me, and Jacob!

Me, Jacob & Kristen!

Anyway, sorry for neglecting my blog but I really didn't have any internet connection while I was in the U.S.

Hopefully I will have something interesting to blog about soon!
Peace & Love!

P.S. Just wanted to leave you all with one more picture!
